Who I Am

I'm Hriday Nijhawan, a Year 12 student at Bablake Sixth Form in Coventry. I'm passionate about design, technology, and building things that work—both beautifully and reliably.

My Background

📚 Education

A-Levels: Maths (A), Physics (A), Business (A*), Extended Project Qualification (EPQ)

My analytical mindset from Maths and Physics directly shapes my approach to design—methodical, precise, and problem-focused.

💼 Work Experience

McDonald's Crew Member – Part-time role developing customer service skills, multitasking under pressure, and learning the importance of reliability.

This experience taught me that great service (like great design) is about exceeding expectations and being responsive to customer needs.

🏎️ Formula 1 & Motorsport

Lifelong Formula 1 fan with competitive karting background. Completed an EPQ research project analysing F1 performance data, concluding that car performance accounts for roughly 88% of race outcomes. Awarded top marks.

This feeds into my design philosophy: every detail matters, and small improvements compound into excellence.

📈 Trading & Markets

I actively learn forex and commodities trading through paper trading on Trading 212. I study technical analysis, market psychology, and risk management.

This feeds directly into my design philosophy: understand patterns, anticipate user behavior, and make decisions based on data.

🎨 Web Design

Self-taught web designer with a focus on clean, modern interfaces. Every site I build is hand-coded from scratch—no templates, no bloat.

I'm heavily inspired by Apple's design language: every pixel has a purpose, and simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.

🏏 Leadership

Cricket Team Captain – Led my team with focus on strategy, communication, and team development.

Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award – Completed physical, skills, and volunteer sections, learning perseverance and dedication.

Why I Do This

I started building websites because I saw a gap: so many brilliant local businesses had outdated, slow websites that didn't represent them well. They were losing customers to bigger companies with better online presences.

I realized that a modern, professional website isn't a luxury—it's essential. And it doesn't have to be expensive or complicated.

That's why I build hand-coded, fast, beautiful websites that are affordable and transparent. Because every business—no matter the size—deserves a site that works as hard as they do.
